SEEK MY FACE SAYS THE LORD
Good morning God's people, This morning the Lord took me back to this word about seeking Him. Read and be edified. Psalm 27:8 When thou saidst, Seek ye my face; my heart said unto thee, Thy face, LORD, will I seek. In the Hebrew the word seek is BAQASH it is a prime route which means to search out by any method specifically in worship or prayer; By implication to strive after: ask, bag, beseech, desire, enquire, get, make inquisition, procure, make request, require, seek for. I love the first part, which says: “by any means.” I feel this reflects the character of God in that whatever efforts we make individually to seek God, we can find Him. Why because, when you are willing to do something by any means, your heart is now invested. God is everywhere because He is omnipresent. He is just waiting for us to want Him.
